Ducati Monster description

The Duc is in excellent condition. It has been babied its entire life and has had all of its check-ups. I had the 7500 mile service done last summer at Northern Ohio Ducati (they are superior Ducati people) and it has never been raced, tracked, or wheelied. I bought it from a guy in Bethesda, Maryland who had to sell because his wife was with child, and I'm only selling it to put cash down on a house (priorities, right?).
When I had it serviced last summer, the technician said it looked like it was brand new inside and out. The only issue: no red key. The chap I bought it from didn't know it was important and misplaced it when he was out on deployment, so I only have 1 chipped key for it, thus the low starting price.
Other info:
-95HP
-Completely Stock except for CRG Lane-Splitter bar end mirrors
-Black with white racing stripe
-Fast and Pretty
-More photos upon request
-Duc is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early.

The Diavel rocks!

Thu, 21 Jul 2011

The Diavel is my new bike of the year. Not being a huge Ducati fan, when I was thrown the keys of this monster at Silverstone on Tuesday I was expecting an ill handling, weighty beast that would run out of revs and scare me to death. Well I couldn’t have been more wrong as I had an absolute blast.

Happy 50th Hizzy

Wed, 11 Jan 2012

On the 11th January 1962, Steve Hislop was born in Hawick, Scotland. Today would have been his 50th birthday, but he was tragically killed in a helicopter accident in 2003. Hizzy was a genius on a motorbike and when he was happy with everything around him, he was amongst the best in the world.

The Making of the Ducati Desmosedici GP12 – Video

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

Ducati has released a video describing the work that went into producing its Desmosedici GP12 to coincide with the MotoGP race machine’s official unveiling. The Bologna, Italy, manufacturer gave the Desmosedici a much-publicized overhaul after a disasterous 2011 season, with star rider Valentino Rossi going without a win for the first time in his Grand Prix racing career. From the post-season test in Valencia, Spain, in November to today, Ducati redesigned is race bike, with Ducati Corse General Manager Filippo Preziosi saying 90% of the parts are new.
