Ducati Monster description

A classic bike with simple clean lines.  I've owned the bike for a little over a year and purchased it from a friend who was the original owner.   The bike has roughly 23k miles on it and runs great.   It has a new battery and recently had a tune up.   I swapped out the original mirrors for bar ends and purchased a custom seat, the original owner had already upgraded to an Ohlins shock as well.  If you have any other questions, feel free to email.

2015 EBR 1190SX Revealed

Wed, 11 Jun 2014

Erik Buell Racing launches its next salvo to the sportbike market with the 1190SX streetfighter. The 1190SX borrows heavily from EBR’s 1190RX superbike contender that MO’s Troy Siahaan is scheduled to test today at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Although no specs have been released, the SX appears to use most of the RX’s hardware: 1190cc V-Twin engine; aluminum fuel-carrying frame; massive 386mm single-disc front brake.

Track days, I love em!

Fri, 29 Jul 2011

I never tire of track days. Well I wouldn’t as I’m out most weeks earning a crust instructing on them, however, there is usually an amusing story at the end of each event. I get great pleasure helping riders (especially if it makes them safer) although I do come across some weird and wonderful riding in the process.

Open Letter from Ducati CEO About Italian Earthquakes

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

Ducati Chief Executive Officer Gabriele Del Torchio has released an open letter addressing the recent earthquakes in Italy, and how they have affected the company. The Emilia region in northern Italy was hit by a 6.0-magnitude earthquake on May 20 and has continued to suffer from aftershocks including a second earthquake on May 29 that briefly halted production at Ducati‘s Bologna factory. In the letter, del Torchio writes about those who have lost their homes in the disasters and expresses thanks for fundraising efforts to help those in need.
