 HRC Executive Vice President Shuhei Nakamoto and Ducati General Director Filippo Preziosi attracted some major media attention as they enjoyed a lengthy but very public chat in the Estoril paddock. 2011 Ducati Diavel Recalled for Weak Kickstands

Ducati issued a recall for the Diavel because of weak kickstands. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the side stands on the 2011 Ducati Diavel was not manufactured with sufficient material at the pivot point. Under certain circumstances, the stand may bend and possibly break at the pivot area, causing a resting Diavel to tip over.

EICMA Show Visitors Vote Ducati 1199 Panigale ‘Most Beautiful Bike’

According to a post on CycleNews.com visitors to EICMA 2011 voted Ducati’s new Panigale superbike the “Most Beautiful Bike of Show” in a vote organized by the Italian bike magazine, Motociclismo. The new Duc collected 53% of the votes from nearly 14,000 participants. The MV Augusta F3 Serie Oro collected 15% of the vote for second place, with 3% of the vote going to Husqvarna’s Nuda 900R for third.
