I bought this bike off the original owner. The original owner was moving back to Georgia from Conn and was looking to sell the Ducati and a BMW M3, I didn't really want the bike but it was a package deal so i had to buy both if really wanted the car, which i did. Anyway when i picked it up it had 680 miles on it. I put it on the road and rode it around a bit. Bike is fun to ride and has a lot of torque! Bike gets alot of attention. Women’s Sportbike Rally Invades Deal’s Gap September 6-8

The annual Women’s Sportbike Rally presented by Draggin’ Jeans is returning for the eighth time to the Smoky Mountains the weekend of September 6-8 for fun, friends, riding and raising funds for the fight against Melanoma. The event headquarters and activities also return to the Deals Gap Motorcycle Resort at the foot of the famous “Tail of the Dragon.” In addition to the beautiful riding in the area, there will be plenty of event activities for all attendees and their guests to enjoy. There will be Friday and Saturday evening festivities, the Sportbike Night and the Sportbikegirl Pit Party, which will feature games, raffles, door prizes, entertainment and camaraderie.

Lightning Electric Superbike Beats All Motorcycles At Pikes Peak

On June 30, Lightning Electric Motorcycles made history when its rider, current motorcycle record holder Carlin Dunne, completed the famous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in 10:00.964, beating all other motorcycles — gas or electric, 82 in total — to the 14,000-foot summit. This marks the first time in a major motorsport event an electric motorcycle has beaten its gas counterparts. In fact, Dunne’s time is still within the top 10 when you include the four-wheel competitors as well.

The Ducati Riding Experience is set to continue in 2014, with enrollment of the 11th edition of the Italian manufacturer’s highly successful riding school already open at www.Ducati.com. Two of Ducati’s latest models, the brand new 899 Panigale Superbike and Monster 1200 will be available for students to use. The 899 Panigale will be used for Racing 1 & 2 courses, while the Intermediate course will utilize the Monster 1200.
