This bike really is a fantastic bike, I'm still not 100% ready to let it go, but I'm getting older and its time to downgrade to a nice comfortable cruiser.  I upgraded the Fuel tank because i enjoy riding to Lake George, NY from Long Island every year. I've done 300+ miles in a day on it. (not the MOST comfortable, but definitely doable).  This bike is a SERIOUS head turner/ conversation starter.  There's nothing quite like being a Ducati owner. Its a whole different world of motorcycle ownership.  This bike can MOVE too. A handful of throttle in almost any gear will pop the wheel up and make you pack an extra pair of underpants. If i didnt come across an insanely good deal on a cruiser from a friend,I  would definitely NOT be letting this bike go. But the adult in me is ready to downgrade the level of fun in my life. :-( One day when i have a midlife crisis, I will 100% be buying this bike again.

The event will include raffle prizes, with proceeds benefitting W.I.N.G.S., an organization providing integrated services to families, in an effort to end domestic violence and homelessness.

A subspecies of the Ducati Scrambler

Tue, 02 Dec 2014

While the motorcycle world is eagerly waiting for the new 2015 Ducati Scrambler to go on sale, Japanese Speedtractor customizers are reinventing their scrambler from a Bolognese brand donor. The motorcycle is based on the 1988 Ducati 750 Sport. The previous owner bought it in the mid-1990s to ride on the track, but after the first Sunday race, he parked the bike in the garage for several years for some reason.

Mon, 25 Jun 2012

Former World Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss out-dueled MotoGP star Valentino Rossi in a highly-anticipated showdown to win the Diavel drag race on the Misano Circuit‘s starting straight as part of World Ducati Week 2012 celebrations. Bayliss and Rossi faced off in the final round after getting through the preliminary rounds which also featured Rossi’s MotoGP teammate Nicky Hayden, reigning WSBK Champion Carlos Checa, Jakub Smrz, Sylvain Guintoli, Niccolò Canepa and Lorenzo Zanetti. The final between the two multiple-time World Champions saw Bayliss getting off to a clean start while Rossi’s Diavel wheelied off the ground a couple of times.
