Ducati Falcon 80 description

Purchased from the son of the late US west coast importer (Euromart), along with several Ducati derelicts, around 2005.  At the time, the bike didn't have a front end, exhaust, seat or tank, and I was told the engine had never been started.  If true, I would assume the bike was robbed for parts back in the day, and left to sit in the warehouse I bought it from.  Not very well respected, these 2-strokes, let's face it.

I had enough NOS stuff to rebuild the front end and a donor headlight from a Mountaineer (speedo shows about 1200 miles or so).  NOS tank and seat were found on Ebay.  NOS exhaust pipe sourced from Domiracer, used muffler was the best I had.  I pulled the top end to take a look, everything is PERFECT.

Condition is 'survivor excellent'.  Includes extra original purple Marelli spark plug in toolbox.  Some scratches, some rust (mostly to areas of the front wheel), handlebar switch works fine but isn't perfect.  Please look at the photos carefully.

Otherwise GUARANTEED to run and ride perfectly.  I rode it around a few miles on completion, and it's been in my bedroom ever since.  Time for another home.  The bike was recently shown at the 2016 Quail Gathering to quite nice reviews.

Clear California title in my name.  Yeah, I know it's a lot of money.  But you will likely never find another in this condition.  If she doesn't sell, I may put some fuel and fluids back in her and post a riding video.  We'll see.  Currently only selling to USA, that may change also, depending on interest...

I will answer questions promptly, thanks for looking.
