Desperado does not apply Motorcycles in California

Bought about 5 years ago from a friend at work.  He used it for transportation in college.  Took it to a shop, had all the fluids changed, tank cleaned, carb rebuilt, brakes adjusted, new battery, new turn signals and I was on the road...
