Desperado All 1978 Motorcycles

78' Honda Goldwing, Vetter fairing, Unity glass lensed fog lights, air suspension, Bates hard luggage, 32*** miles, over all good shape low miles, carbs have been taken off and rebuilt, needs reinstalled, I was told the bike ran perfectly when it was parked sometime in the 90's, the previous owner passed away so i don't know much about it. I would rate the over condition at least 7 out of 10, with some time and cleaning it could be a 9 out of ten. clean title.

Very smooth running bike, in excellent original condition, still has the dealership sticker.  The paint and chrome are in excellent shape.  Only has 20,000 miles on it.

 Used motorcycle. Not running. Has been parked in garage since 2014.

Bike was stored in a heated Garage, It's a Classic, in Very Good shape.  I've restored, repaired and maintained the bike, with loving care for over 20 years.  It's time for me to let it go. 

It  starts right up but hard to get above idle when warmed up. Needs a new rear tire. The rest is in good shape.

Here is a Vintage, Blast from the Past, 1978 Naked Goldwing in pretty good condition overall. The tires are good & the Bike does run, but the carbs will need adjusting or perhaps, cleaning. The Gas Tank shows no sign of leakage.

With a little bit of work this machine could probably run and ride good.

this is a 1978 Honda Gold Wing GL1000. it has 9,228 miles. carbs have recently been rebuilt and the gas tank cleaned.

I have a 1978 Honda Goldwing 1000 Sports Model. This bike is in excellent shape. It has been  totally gone through from top to bottom by my father who restores classic bikes (BSA, Norton & Triumph).

1978 gold wing has aftermarket classic fairing driving lights and rear rack runs great tires are about50% i have a used tank bag and maybe a set of soft side bags go with it at no extra cost

1978 goldwing  This is a good looking old bike, with that said it is the original paint with all original emblems and shows normal wear for a 30+ year old bike. Runs and drives great !  I will do my best to describe the good and bad i have nothing to hide.

It is a pleasure to ride and definitely turns heads everywhere I go!Tires are in good shapeEverything works (Brakes, Lights, switches, etc.) It does not have turn signals.It does drip a little oil and/or antifreeze here and there, nothing major. The bike IS 38 years old!Absolutely worth what I'm asking for it!

1978 Honda Gold Wing, Very nice and very clean motorcycle. I got this bike 8 years ago. It has been in storage for the last 6 years.

 nice example of a 4th generation GL1000, windjammer fairing. carbs work good after short  warm-up. Does not smoke.

New Corbin seat, low sportbike handlebars, steel braided brake lines.  Forks raised 5mm, Progressive fork springs. Dyna S electronic ignition New Dynamic 3 ohm coils New plug wires (Magnecor?) Low miles Bridgestone Battlax BT45  tires Adjustable brake lever w 5/8" master cylinder from Kawasaki ZX9 (better power than stock) K&N air filter Napoleon bar end mirrors CBX shocks, 1" longer than stock New fork seals New timing belts Fresh tuneup by Steve's Cycles including carb rebuild/synchronize. Bike is light and agile for a Gold Wing, brakes are excellent, turns and handles really well and pulls strong to the red line.

For Sale: 1978 Honda GL1000 Gold Wing in vintage shape. All original, excellent black and gold paint. I have owned the bike for 25+ years, never seen harsh weather.

 This is a beautiful example of the GL1000 1978 Goldwing. It is mostly original! This is what's not original on the bike.Has a Dyna S electronic ignition(no points) has a windshield and backrest, engine guards and footpegs.

1978 Honda GL1000 Goldwing. The title says there is a mileage descrepency-don't know why-speedometer seems to keep accurate mileage.  I have replaced the fuel petcock,all seals around the water pump,swapped out the right front caliper,did a complete tune up-also flushed/cleaned the cooling system and put in new antifreeze.  It has a windjammer fairing.

Listed are 3 1978 GL1000 Hondas, 2 are mostly together and a parts bike, all of which could be put back on the road if desired. The first 2 have clear titles but the parts bike has no title. All have a lot of great parts or can make one runner from the 3.

Right cam replaced New head gasket New timing belt New cam seals New water tube Adjusted the valves New rear tire  (Front tire is in excellent condition with a lot of tread) New Break Pads Runs Great! I absolutely love this bike!  I'm only selling because I just had a major operation and I need to pay my hospital bills.The bike performs better than any other bike I've owned and I'll be sad to see her go.

78 Honda Goldwing. I purchased this bike from the son of the original owner after his father passed away(paperwork to prove it). Included with purchase are the original headlight assembly and turn signals, tool kit, owners manual, shop manual, and cycle sound radio.
