For sale is a good condition 1983 Yamaha Venture 1200.  Since this is a 33 year old motorcycle there are some scratches, cracks and marks throughout the machine.  the bike runs good and doesn't have any mechanical problems.

  1983 Yamaha XVZ1200 Venture.  Runs and rides.  Good project bike or fixer upper.  This bike was a trade-in, and is being sold as is.  It starts right up, and seems to run good.  The front brakes and rear brakes work fine, as does the clutch.  We test rode it about a mile down the street, and back, and it pulls good and shift through all gears fine.  However it does pop out of 2nd gear.  All other gears are fine, but it jumps out of 2nd.  Also, the previous owner removed the speedometer/temp gauge, we don't know why.  So there is no speedometer/temp gauge installed on the bike.  Tires look good, has a newer Shinko 231 on the front and an Avon Venom on the rear I think this will make someone a good bike with a little TLC.  I would recommend thoroughly inspecting the bike, and servicing it before starting on any road trips, as this bike has not been inspected by us, other than what is mentioned here.  Please ask any questions you have, I am happy to answer them as best I can. 1983 Yamaha Venture. The bike pops out of second gear. It is still a rideable bike as is by just shifting from 1st into 3rd.
