1975 Norton 850 Commando MK III Electric Start, in pristine condition with all matching numbers. This is the best running and looking Norton 850 you will find and has only 19,743  miles. Bike's steal tank is clean inside.

This is a 1975 model with working electric start, left hand shift, starts and runs flawlessly due to an original 3976 miles.  The tank and side covers were recently repainted with House of Color paint and they look incredibly nice. The tank shines with a flawless black paint job.

all original norton, needs back brake rotor turned , from flaked off chrome. right carb needs to be adjusted and cleaned , has typical leaks, which these are known  for .    the bike runs good strong runner , and a blast to ride .

UP FOR BID IS THIS 1975 NORTON MKIII ELECTRIC START  850 INNERSTATE   PROJECT. I PICKED THIS BIKE UP IN MICH A COUPLE YRS BACK WITH BIG PLANS FOR A FULL RESTO. BUT I HAVENT GOT THERE SO I'M OFFERING IT UP HERE.

The bike is stock with the exception of the following reasonable upgrades such as Electronic Ignition ,A  very cool Corbin Gunfighter seat, a much improved MAP single MIKUNI  carburetor kit. There may be a few other non-stock items that I am not aware of.  The blinker lights , twin concentric carburetors and twin intake manifolds are complimentary with the sale.
