Up for auction is this 1985 Harley Davidson XLS , (ROADSTER)    Iron Head 1000cc. 1985 is the last year the Iron Heads were produced. The Roadster model is somewhat rare.  Only 640 were built.  I replaced both front & rear tires.

I bought this bike in '90 or '91.  It is a 1939 74" Flathead in a late Panhead FL frame (see frame stamp in picture).  Most of the rolling chassis and tranny (4 speed suicide shift) is from the same late 50s early 60s era.

1985 Harley Davidson FXWG- Priced right, runs great! EVO motor, 80 cubic inches. New complete top end, 10.1 compression, S&S valve springs, black diamond valves, heads are ported, chrome moly push rods, Andrews EV-59 Cam and Lifters, exhaust, S&S Carburetor, kick and electric start, Dyna ignition,new drag pipes.

All original 1985 FXEF Fat Bob Super Glide that was built in 1984 because of the factory Evo motor, 4 speed trans and chain drive. The bike like most Harley's has lots of chrome, screaming eagle ignition, new tires with 700 miles on them, new suspension, etc.

1985 Harley-Davidson FXWG - Wide Glide,

Originally a 1985 FXWG Harley Davidson with a few custom touches, like the DNA Springer Front End and brake caliper, Corbin front and rear seat, rear fender, and metal flake blue paint. a few more custom items includes an internal throttle and hidden switches.  This bike is very basic and I can't gaurantee that it will pass inspection, but it looks good and runs strong.  It's ready to ride. I'm looking for something for long distance and this one just isn't cutting it.

ok here is the result of two years work by an old 60 year old biker who rode pans ,knuckles and indians all his life ,this is a 1985 fxsb its the first year for the evo motor and the last year for having both kick and electric start ,i mounted a springer front end from a 90s era harley .along with an old style rear fender .it is a swingarm rear end with low profile shocks ,so its sits nice and low .i fabricated a hand tank shift and foot clutch and the bike shifts like an old knucklehead .this is not your granmas bike and its not for sissys or the weak of heart .so if you have a bug up your ass to pick up a cool collectible cruiser then check this bike out .if you have any questions give a call 215 290 9413 greg the bike has 7,000 original miles and the motor and transmission have never been apart ,its a four speed bike .,i am willing crate and ship this bike anywhere in the world for a serious buyer and an invitation to come ride it on occasion . most bikes on ebay are overpriced or have very high reserves ,ive priced this bike to sell so dont think too long it will be gone ,listen up this bike aint going to sell on ebay this bike is only going to sell if somebody really wants a cool bike and gets up off there ass and calls me so we can do business man to man other wise go build your own .greg 215 290 9413  ive lowered the reserve and the buy it now ,ive got other projects to finish so if you want a nice bike dont hold back make a bid i will work with an honest bidder
