THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION: Custom built rigid frame, stretched and raked. Custom Invader 5 spoke wheels. Custom twisted chrome springer front end. Rebuild TR7 750 twin engine. New flat fender. Tear drop gas tank. Bike was disassembled years ago for rebuild, but at one time was running and driving with this set up. The parts featured in the photos are the only parts I have to go with the bike. Clear Texas title. Titled as 1992 special construction chopper. Delivery available within the continental U.S. for additional charge. Winning bidder must contact me within 24 hours of auction ending. Bike must be paid for within 48 hours of auction ending. Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM
Tue, 26 Aug 2014More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Mon, 20 May 2013Bonnier Corporation, owner of Cycle World, Popular Science and Field & Stream magazines, among others, has just inked a deal with Source Interlink Media, acquiring nine of SIM’s motorcycle titles. Terms of the transaction, including purchase price, were not disclosed. Under the deal, Bonnier acquires Motorcyclist, Sport Rider, Dirt Rider, Motorcycle Cruiser, Hot Bike, Baggers, Super Streetbike, Street Chopper and ATV Rider.

Thu, 08 Mar 2012Lorenzo Lamas, the heartthrob who played ex-cop Reno Raines, a chopper/cruiser-riding beefcake sporting a flowing mane (that most women wished they had), out for justice in the ’90s TV drama, Renegade, is a real life motorcyclist, and will lead a charity ride on June 3 as the grand marshal for Child Abuse Awareness. Slated to join Lamas are actors/riders from Sons of Anarchy, Southland and American Ninja, as well as law enforcement and the general public, on the ride that will depart from Bartels’ Harley-Davidson in Marina del Rey, Calif., and end at the Newport Dunes Resort in Newport Beach, Calif.
