Chopper Chopper description
You're about to bid on what will be a sweet custom ride once it is finished. All the main components are present, finishing this bike will be a matter of labor, minor parts and hardware, and paint.
Once finished, this will be a soft-tail frame with a fat rear tire and a '90-'06 evo-based drive-train featuring a RevTech 110 and 6-speed transmission and a Rivera Primo open belt primary. The following items are brand new: -Revtech 110 Evo-style ('90-'06) engine (Serial: 65851501443) (Worth $4,100) -RevTech 6-speed Overdrive Transmission (Worth $950) -Rivera Primo Brute IV Extreme Belt Drive 3 in. open-belt primary (Worth $1700) -Spyke Super Torque Starter (1.4 Kw, Black, Serial: 8530) (Worth $300) -Harley Davidson Alternator Rotor Kit (Part no. 29957-81B) -Cycle Electric Inc 32 Amp Stator (CE-8999A) ($100) -Cycle Electric Regulator ($150) -18 in. AVON Venom-R wide rear tire on chrome spoke rim -AVON Venom-X front tire on chrome spoke rim -12 in. Chrome front brake rotor disc The following items are lightly used: -Custom grips, forward controls, brake/clutch handles, and wrapped exhaust. -Rolling frame complete with wheels(listed above), sprotor, custom soft-tail frame, gas tank, two rear fenders, oil tank, chrome forks, handlebars. -And finally a lightly damaged but in working condition Exile Sprotor brake. My brother and I started this project when I was deployed to Afghanistan in 2011, unfortunately we haven't lived in the same city since then so working on it together was just never feasible and we are just trying to recoup some of the money we've spent on the parts listed above. I want to be able to off load these parts as honestly and quickly as possible, if you or someone you know would be interested in any of the above parts, or if you are reading something that doesn't make sense to you, please let me know. I'm not a mechanic, everything posted above comes from either the label on the product or its paperwork, or my understanding of the part itself and I can only guarantee the items for which I have some sort of paperwork on, which for the most part, will be the ones with part numbers or serial numbers. That being said, I'm confident there are no errors above. I'd prefer to sell this as a full project bike. |

Lawn-Mowing Motorcycle
Mon, 20 Apr 2009I can’t count how many sunny Saturdays in my adult life I have spent lamenting the fact that yard work took precedent over being able to spend the entire day out riding my motorcycle. Well, instead of wasting time dreaming, a farmer and motorcycle enthusiast managed to find a way to fix this problem by converting an old worn out ride on lawnmower into a chopper that actually, chops. Powered by a 17.5 HP Briggs and Stratton motor, the bike was constructed with the help of an old bed frame, an aluminum running board and parts from two old bikes. Now instead of choosing between going riding or doing yard work, this ingenious inventor can do both!

Introducing I.R.I.S., the Lococycle, the Artificially Intelligent Motorcycle Assassin
Fri, 15 Mar 2013Austin, Texas, based Twisted Pixel is developing a new video game featuring a sassy sentient motorcycle martial artist racing down highways and fighting an army of jetpack-equipped special agents. Yes, that sounds pretty silly, but it’s clear Twisted Pixel’s upcoming “LocoCycle” doesn’t take itself too seriously. That being said, the game looks to be quite fun.
