I have for sale a very nice 2005 YZ 125 that has recently been professionally bored and stroked to 151cc. I bought this bike used in July of 2012. The guy I bought it from was a senior racer. I’m also older, but I don’t race. The original owner had the suspension re-valved for himself (a 175 lb intermediate racer).  The forks also have the expensive low friction Titanium Nitride Coating. I rode the bike a couple of times and decided I wanted more power. I had the engine bored and stroked by Eric Gorr at Forward motion Inc. (http://www.eric-gorr.com/) to 151cc. Eric Gorr replaced the crank and rod with a hot rod crank, the entire cylinder, the cylinder head, the piston and rings, the clutch basket and plates and all associated bearings. For all practical purposes, the entire engine was replaced! I have only ridden the bike one time since it was rebuilt. I have owned or ridden just about every kind and size of dirt bike ever made and this one is by far my favorite. It’s super light-weight, has excellent handling and has amazing power for a 125cc bike. I stopped riding it because I bought a 450cc quad and have been riding that instead. In the sake of complete honesty, one of the bolts holding the left radiator on is missing because the bolt-hole is fouled up. I think it can be re-tapped without any problem. It has been that way since I bought it and it hasn’t been a problem. The plastic radiator protectors in the front of the radiators are also missing because the tabs that hold them in are broken. Again it has been that way since I bought it and it hasn’t been a problem. The right radiator shroud is also held to the radiator by a zip tie instead of a bolt because of the missing tab. This has also been that way since I bought the bike and isn’t a problem. Other than those issues the bike is in excellent condition. The tires and chain and sprockets only have a few rides on them and the fenders and side panel plastics are brand new. I paid $1,900 for the bike and have invested about $1,600 on top of that. The bike is a steal at $2,000, which is the reserve price. I do not have a title since I didn’t get one from the former owner, but will provide a bill of sale and a copy of the bill of sale that he provided me. The bike is for local pick up only or I will deliver up to 50 miles for $1.00/mile. The motor has high compression and requires race gas. You can get it at pretty much several Sunoco stations or other sources for $9.50/gallon.
