Purchased from the original owners daughter. Bike was parked in 1955 and was never disassembled by anyone. It was only missing the horn. I never found a proper looking original horn for it which is trivial in my opinion.

For the exhaust the previous owner had purchased a replacement from the dealer for it. Was originally NOS till I put it on.

The original seat was too far gone however I found the EXACT same original seat that would've been on this bike which is now on it.

Has the ORIGINAL high output optional generator with regulator on it which was available for them.

This bike is FULLY operational and everything is in working order.

Starts and runs like a 5000 miles Indian Chief. Shifts nice. Has excellent original brakes.

Still wearing its original Firestone tires.

Shouldn't have to say it but yes it is matching numbers.

Has the power you would expect from a new 74" Chief. Plenty road worthy if you chose to ride this piece.

I completely took this motorcycle down to the frame and cleaned and inspected EVERY part of this motorcycle. Top end was removed and all engine internals are NICE. All is like new inside. STD bore, original pistons etc. Cams and valve train all cleaned up and lapped back in like new.

Great care was taken in the full overhaul of this to preserve the originality. This bike fires right up an runs like a top. See the youtube videos linked below for start up and ride videos.
