Welcome to my beautiful 1987 CR500, I painstakingly disassembled it, powder coated it in correct orange, rebuilt every mechanical component and replaced ALL engine bearings and engine components that can be and greased everything, rebuilt the rear shock w new bumper and 5 weight oil, all new plastics but have great condition originals to go with it, polished the tank, zero run time on new motor tires and complete build. If someone chooses I will break it in for them otherwise they can do it their way/this way the buyer has that choice. I did Black Satin Ceramic coat the exhaust pipe, it holds heat inside for better scavenging and also does not rust or come off like paint, just way better. Each and every nut and bolt was important to the quality I wanted, this was no rush job, no expense spared, new cables, grips, number plate graphics, air cleaner, seat correctly done etc…everything. Someone will be getting a REALLY excellent 1987 CR500 for sure
The wheels spin STRAIGHT and are original, everything is fresh ZERO NEEDS massive attention to detail and then some on a very low hour bike, motor was perfect but split cases and rebuilt correctly w everything new, even the crank!
***I relieved the exhaust port Bridge correctly and also drilled the new piston 3 times, 1" apart for oiling that bridge, this motor is bare cases up fresh as is everything else frame is excellent/ not beat up underneath like so many then flawless powder coated.
