Offered here is a very rare 1954 BB34A high compression 'big fin' alloy competition. Featuring an engine that is completely aluminum with an aluminum 'big fin' top end and swing arm frame. Amazingly this bike is also a factory high compression model with "HC" stamped into the crankcase denoting this. The engine looks to have also been stroked for more torque.  While its first owner is unknown, we have history back to 1960. Purchased by a Mr. Timer Simmons in 1960 and then sold to a Mr. Pete Sullivan who raced the bike from 1963 to 1967. It was then purchased from the Sullivan estate by well known motorcycle collector Dana Erickson of Connecticut in 2002. Mr. Erickson restored the bike around 2012. It was restored to a very high level, I would say concours condition. Most importantly all of the numbers and parts are correct on this bike so it is very good and pure. It runs and rides amazingly well and is incredibly fast. It's a beautiful bike and a very rare and significant BSA alloy competition. Please message or call Alex with any questions (203) 218-1903. We can also assist with shipping. Sold As is Where is. You can view a video of the bike running and driving as well with a youtube link below. The auction is no reserve so good luck. Thanks!
