1969 Taco Trail 100 original paint low number 005.

Vehicle Details

1969 Taco trail. Low number #005. Purchased from the Bushmaster, a Steen’s/ Taco employee that built bikes in 69’s and 70’s when he wasn’t drag racing. Side car was built there by him as well. Painted Taco purple at the same time. Bike seat was replaced long ago and side car seat is original and done on Alhambra. The engine was repainted. I do have another recoil cover for it from taco. As well as some other small parts. Paint is original on bike. Bike was used on occasion to accompany the Bushmaster who was a drag race driver. He was a great showman and driver. The sidecar has loops in rear for using a harness. Bushmaster drove several famous cars. Ed Roth’s Yellow Fang and the Star Jet. Engine runs great. Brakes were redone. Great racing history display piece, or car show/swap meet rider. I do not believe these bikes had titles.
