This is a nice condition Husqvarna sportsman 360. It has a four-speed transmission. it runs good is a solid bike mostly original. It does not have the speedometer but the VDO speedometer pick up is properly located at the rear axle. I don’t think the headlight is original or correct. it does have the rocket engine cases, but the left side has been repaired where the Kickstarter rests. The lighting is not wired up but lighting diagrams are easy to find and really quite basic. The battery tray is in place, but there is no battery. I just had the original Motoplat stater rebuilt and it has a new Mikuni carburetor. The tires look near new and the rims/wheels and forks and fenders and most other parts are original. I also put new red wing rear shocks on it. The tank is not original to this bike, but it is in excellent condition. I do have the original tank if you prefer with the nut inserts for the tank bag. It does have the typical fork tube dents in the front of the tank but the chrome area is near perfect. It would need to replated as the chrome is gone. The tank is not what I would consider rusty but has had a liquid liner applied by the previous owner. Both gas tanks are very valuable and average price starts around $500.00 take your pick of the tanks as only one will go with the bike. Most of the parts to do a restoration are still available but you have to look around and be patient. There are still several companies selling reproduction parts and good used parts for these bikes. The Sportsmans have always been rare and are especially hard to find anymore. The 69 is a two-piece frame. It is a cool piece of vintage motorcycle history. It was never a street legal bike in spite of the license plate. Though it could be made so in the state of Colorado with a horn a mirror and a brake light switch. If you are interested in more pictures please contact me. The optional tank will be sold separately. Thank you for your interest
I prefer PayPal, but will accept cash or money order. I will assist your shipper, but all shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. There is no warranty. It’s a 55 year old motorcycle so it’s not perfect. The early 4 speeds are a little delicate on shifting. Between first and second gear is neutral and a very intentional effort is required to go past the neutral into 2nd gear. These are not gear banging bikes. But they are definitely cool, nostalgic, collectible, desirable and I’m confident you’ll be happy with it.
