Some basic upgrades to make it reliable and fun to ride
-Dayna electronic ignition
-Classis 4-1 Kerker
-Jetted with a K&N
-LED headlight
-Clutch plates, steels and springs
-530 chain conversion
- Head bearings
-Corbin (I still have the LTD style seat&grab bar)
- the tank, side panels and rear fender were professionally repainted in the oe color including the oem stripe.
I put about 800-1200 miles on it every year. I service the oil, filter, plugs & brake fluid annually. Fork oil every two years.
Some areas of attention
-#2 head pipe has a slight leak when cold due to a cracked header flange. I have the OEM original chrome style as well as the newer aluminum style to install
-clutch cable is getting stiff, should be replaced soon
-rear pads and a rotor in a season or two
It’s a great bike that continues to put a smile on everyone’s face that sees it and ride it.
