Description:
In large buildings or outside broadcast vehicles the Q-link system can be affected by mains earth differences between physically remote areas. This causes current to flow in the outer of the Qlink cable that can disrupt the Q-Link communications. To prevent this problem Evertz supplies a SI-0004 Q-link opto-isolator unit. The SI-0004 interface is installed between Q-link and any external tail gate or bulk head patch panels.
