Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 1982 Honda GL 500 Silver Wing Interstate for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. This was a barn find from our consignor and when he got it, the Honda fired right up. Well duh, it's a Honda, right? Much thought went into the design of Honda's 500-class full-dress tourer. The existing CX500 V-twin engine would obviously be the ideal choice for the power plant, but what about the chassis? They took the standard CS engine, chassis and simply bolted on a fairing and some saddlebags. The exterior is finished in maroon paint with Honda emblems and some gold stripes. There are a few little imperfections in the paint, but we think it would buff out nicely. The fit and finish of the accessories is excellent. The latches fit well; the hinges don't stick. Just as the accessories are easy to use, so is the motorcycle. The controls are easy to operate and conveniently placed. Having the choke knob at the steering head is welcome with the fairing covering up the engine. And it's nice to be able to start the Honda without first pulling in the clutch lever. Honda GL 500 Silver Wing Interstate is produced in 1981-82. The engine is Four-stroke. longitudinal 800 V-twin, SOHC 4 valves per cylinder operated by pushrods, displacement 496.8 cc / 30.3 cub in., produces power 37.3 kW / 50 hp @ 9000 rpm and 46 Nm / 4.69 kg. -m / 33.9 lb.-ft @ 7000 rpm. Useable and stylish are the words that best describe the Interstate package. It's useable in small ways. That being the case, we'd have to say the GL500 is every bit as successful a motorcycle as the original CX500. Don't miss out on this barn find, call Classic Car Addict today at 480-256-1459.

Vehicle Warranty

Classic Car Addict is a consignment dealership; therefore, we sell cars that are not new and have surpassed their normal life expectancy. For this reason, the vehicles Classic Car Addict often sells require greater maintenance and repair. Most of our vehicles that we sell are considered classics, antiques, and high performance, meaning that they are older or modified or both and most times have dated automotive technology. Although Classic Car Addict does perform a visual and driven safety inspection of the vehicle upon arrival, we cannot make any warranty, guarantee or representation regarding the accuracy truth, or reliability of information we are provided by the consignors. We sell our vehicles AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties expressed, written or implied. ANy representations or descriptions are for identification purposes only and are not to be construed as a warranty of any type. All sales are final. Potential buyers are aware it is his/her/they/their responsibility to either inspect personally or hire a third-party inspection company prior to the deal closing or purchasing the vehicle.
