Up for sale ( Also on Facebook Marketplace ) 1978 Kawasaki KZ750D Z2 . This model is Super rare as they were never imported into the USA . This was the end of the Z2 family ( similar to the KZ900 was to the Z1 family ) This one was brought back by a service member and has been in the State of Maine since . I bought it from a closed down Kawasaki shop in Maine and cleaned it up and installed a few missing parts ( side covers , seat , tail section , exhaust , and misc ) But it is all there and the important stuff like the original paint fuel tank ( dented ) and gauges , perfect frame with good VIN and a good engine with a good engine # . Original wheels in great shape This motorcycles deserves to be restored by a professional and put in a museum or private collection . The bike is not running at this time as is will need the carbs rebuilt and fuel tank cleaned out . The engine turns over with the kick start lever . will be sold with a Bill of Sale and a transferable State of Vermont registration which is the same as a title ( VT is a non-title state and does not require or issue titles for vehicles over 15 years old. Asking $30,000 I was advised by an expert on these models and if it was fully restored to show room it could bring from $60K-$80K Here is a link with the specs:
