One I thought I would never sell - my perfect 1970....   it literally belongs in a museum.  Its never had a nut or bolt touched on it (that means its original paint and every part original to the bike), the thing is incredible... check the pics... look at the cad plated parts... after 50+ yrs, you cant find cadmium in this condition (its a sacrificial coating- meaning its not meant to last)... but yet 54 yrs later it still looks factory fresh- the bike was preserved in AZ dry climate inside a garage its whole life...call a quality restorer like the Olsons and ask them how much to restore a bike to this condition and you'll get a bill of $15-25k to get the bike to this standard and then of course it still wont be "original" untouched as this is.........  ask q's if needed, but this is the one you have been looking and waiting for - trust me.

BTW - this is a factory ordered custom w banana seat and 3.5 Gallon Tanks!!  The 3.5 tanks look so much better than 5's and give the bike far better lines.... makes the bike very special especially in its condition.  The bike has only been washed with water- its not waxed or detailed- it will only clean up even better from here!  Quite the perfect package for a collector or museum.

The bike just needs to be ridden (its been sitting over 40yrs)... whenever bikes like this sit (my preferred bikes to buy- unmolested)... I ride them 10 miles, check nuts/bolts, ride 20 miles, ride 50 miles and check - then your good for a cross country trip.  The original tires are still like new due to perfect storage conditions, so you should not need anything for this bike other than oil and gas going forward.

Im answering tons of q's a day on this listing regarding whether I have "the original" this or that to this bike. I guess my english writing skills must be inadequate. When I say , "original and untouched" this means (in english) that the bike has not been touched or altered in any way - it is exactly as the factory sent to the dealer when ordered - nothing at all has been painted, parts swapped, altered, or modified since the bike was picked up by the original owner at the dealership. One part was changed- its called a "battery". The battery is responsible for providing spark to the ignition at start up and maintaning any voltage for lights or accessories while running aided by a charging system. I changed the "original" battery (that means the battery that was delivered from the factory when purchased). It still had the original battery in it; which was dead from sitting too many years. Thats the only part that has been touched or changed. I dont know how to better explain in ENGLISH ...
