This "Little Z" motorcycle lives up to the stellar reputation of it’s many Kawasaki predecessors, providing light weight, quick acceleration, stable handling and strong linear braking. 


While predictably controllable traveling slow or fast, it is willing to cruise at 75-80 mph effortlessly.


This motorcycle is barely broken-in: 4545 cared for miles. First oil change at 889 miles, the second at 3303. Chain lubed after every ride. 


One inch set-back and rise handlebar risers, a Puig surprisingly effective windscreen, Norton adjustable brake and clutch levers. 


A Coffman slip-on muffler sounds growly at low speeds but not irritatingly or distractingly loud at cruising speeds. 


The Z400 is a great all-around fun bike, incredibly easy to ride slow, never any handling or throttle surprises, a not at all common quality in the motorcycle world. 


Comes with a rugged high quality Pit Bull motorcycle rear stand which elevates the rear of the bike effortlessly.
