1958 Panhead FL.  Bike has been sitting for at least 30 years, maybe longer.  I purchased the bike 11 years ago from an owner who had parked it in his basement for over 20 years and then it took me 10 more years to get around to working on it. (too many projects)  I have rebuilt the Linkert carburetor.  Installed new plugs, points and condenser.  Disassembled, cleaned and verified condition of oil pump.  Rebuilt master cylinder and rear wheel cylinder.  Cleaned fuel tank.  New oil and filter.  Replaced all damaged wiring including sockets and bulbs as required.  Cleaned and tested charging system.  New battery.  Adjusted clutch and lubricated all cables.

The bike has a patina that many people look for in an antique bike.  The chrome is not perfect and it has the oil film and dirt that was deposited over the years.  I was careful not to disturb that look while doing repairs but can be easily cleaned up if you desire..  This bike is not a pristine show bike but rather a great daily rider that looks, runs and handles just like it did back sixty years ago.  A fun bike to ride to the cruise in as everyone comes over to look.  My goal was to add it to the collection but the wife says we have too many so I spent my time making certain everything worked while it ran and drove as it should.

The next to last picture shows where the rear motor mount was welded.  I cannot see anything that would cause concern.  Pretty typical problem it you don't properly shim when installing the engine.  Someone also stretched the tanks to 5 gallons.  Looks like they did a very good job and are clean inside.  Tires will probably need to be replaced if you plan on riding it just based on age.  They hold air fine and have plenty of tread.  Only thing that doesn't work is the fuel on/off/reserve.  Don't have the tool needed to align.

I have a Connecticut Certificate of Title signed from the last owner and a notarized bill of sale.  I have never registered the bike.

Buyer is responsible for a $500 deposit upon agreement to buy and final payment within one week.  The bike can be picked up in Milan, IN 47031 or I can assist in working with your shipping company for pick up.  Either way, shipment it is the buyer's responsibility.
