1977 Honda CT 70. 3 speed automatic transmission. 3,982miles. Starts on the first kick every time and burns no oil. This bike scoots down the road at 40mph all day long on the new stock sprockets. It would go faster with different sprockets if that’s what you want to do. Unlike the two Harleys in my shop, this bike leaks no oil. 88cc big borekit installed about 100 miles ago. This bike is mostly stock. Carburetor, airfilter and big bore kit are aftermarket. I believe the handlebars are original, but the switches are off something else. Original handlebars are not available anymore. The exhaust is original, but the heat shield is after market. Absolutely everything on the bike works as it should except for the front brake light switch. I’ve had this bike for years. I used to take it to Sturgis during bike week and used it as a pit bike for the campground. It was always a big hit up there with the biker crowd. Over theyears, I replaced the brakes, tires, wheels, horn, taillight, fenders, seat and a new battery was put in it this spring. The bike runs great even with a dead battery. New headlight mounts are 3d printed in Canada and appear stock. I have an older set of beat up stock headlight mounts that can go with the bike if you want them.
1970s CT 70s are getting harder and harder to find, but most parts are still available online. You can keep this stock and go for originality, but there are some great aftermarket parts, and you can make areally nice custom out of this if you want. New motors with transmissions are also available online and you could drop up to a 125cc motor in this for under $500.
Sale info: I’m in Northeast Parker, CO. If you see this ad,the bike is still available. There is no title for the bike. I believe you didn’t get a title with these in Colorado back in 1977.
