1970 Honda SL350 K0 Candy Red

This bike is a numbers matching older restoration project that turned into a really nice rider before I could turn it into a trailer queen. I have owned it for 30 yrs and just never completed it to trailer queen level fora variety of reasons. I am selling so that someone else can either finish to the trailer queen level or enjoy it as-is. The top end was overhauled and has less than 20 miles on it. The lower end was clean and like-new so it was left as-is. The rims were replaced some time ago, but are pitted now (production chrome). The handlebars are painted “silver” as is the rear taillight license plate bracket. Has new repro seat, new tires, new chain, and new battery.

The paint is really nice and is the correct color, but it also has a 2k clearcoat over it so that it is glossier than the original would have been. It is not perfect, but darned nice. The frame silver paint is showing some age, but still not too bad for its age.

One side cover has a broken tab section and is very brittle. I would replace if I was going to do more work on it. The paint has a few fish eyes and I have included pictures of the side cover repairs that were made along the way for reference.

It runs strong as it did when it was new and if you know anything about these 350 twins, they are reliable and basically bullet proof.The speedometer says 7500 miles, but I don’t think it has that many miles on it. I think I replaced the original that only had about 2500 on it.

Mufflers have a couple of slight dents in them, but they don’t show up in the pictures very well and they are actually in pretty good shape as far as SL mufflers go.

I have replaced too many parts along the way to mention.So, please ask questions before bidding.

Please keep in mind it is a 54 yr old beautiful classic, but there is always something to putz with or improve on.
