Vehicle Details

This 1985 Honda Nighthawk 450 is a great project bike for anyone looking to work on a classic motorcycle. I bought it when I was 16 from a cars for kids action in early 2023. Worked on it for sometime until I bought a running bike, the list of parts replaced is below.

New Choke

New Throttle body

Rebuilt carburetor

Sandblasted and resealed gas tank (cost $300 and you will most likely need to do this for any project bike)

Replaced main electrical board

New air filter

Fresh oil (late 2023)

Really the only things needed is a new battery, new spark plugs, and new front brakes (there are currently no front brakes on the bike) Other than that I'm pretty sure the engine is in good condition

Seat and gas tank are kept inside, otherwise the bike is stored under a cover.
