This is a BMW 1988 R100 RS with a four stroke, two cylinderhorizontally opposed Boxer, 2 overhead values per cylinder, air cooled, 980 ccengine, with a 5-speed transmission driving an enclosed shaft final drive.  Mileage is 50,600. Color is white. The front suspensionis a telescopic fork with double-acting hydraulic dampening, progressive springrates and integrated fork brace; the rear suspension is a single progressive-ratecoil spring and a gas fill adjustable damper attached to a swinging arm (monolever).  Wheels are BMW cast light alloy with Y- spokedesign. Front dual brakes are 2-pistion Brembo calipers, the rear brake is adrum with pads.  Seat height is 33.5inches. The wheelbase of 57 inches, and the motorcycle dry weight isapproximately 460 lbs., and wet weight of approximately 504 lbs. with a full 5.8-gallonfuel tank.  The Bing carburetors are 32mmthroat diameter constant-depression. The clutch is a single dry plate with alever action diaphragm spring. Instrumentation consists of a speedometer,tachometer, a voltmeter and a clock. The Metzeler Lazertec 100/90/18 front, and120/90/18 rear have approximately 1,480 miles on them.

Included with the motorcycle are: BMW lockable panniers ingood condition (the elastic stay-strappings inside are stretched out), originalBMW 3-section tank bag designed for the bike (the map window on the top sectionis in good condition for its age, a short section of the zipper on the extenderbag section is separated, the bottom section clips onto the tank using paddingin order to protect the tank paint, and the rain cover is waterproof), a Brownside stand (on the motorcycle) and original side stand, original and completetool kit, with a couple of new spark plugs.

Upgrades include LED tail/brake light, Katdash instrumentlighting, Progressive rear shock, a Motobatt battery with 20% more crankingamps then the standard battery, a Corbin seat with passenger backrest, and transmissioncir-clip installed.
