Here is a super clean and fun classic from yesteryear. This Kawasaki KZ650D-SR is in outstanding condition for its age and runs & rides as it should. Not to many of these around in this kind of condition. I think I have seen maybe 3 others for sale in the past 5 years and not even close to the fine shape and low miles as the one listed here.
If you remember a kickstart then you certainly remember the fun of throwing your leg over and kicking her to life. This also has electric push button start, but I exercise the kickstarter as much as I can - why? Because it’s fun. I grew up on these and or this era of bikes and will always enjoy grabbing a few miles when time permits.
I have many motorcycles and try to ride as many as I can when Life gets out of the way, or to be completely honest just drop what I’m doing and go for a spin. As they say, “You never see a motorcycle parked in front of a Psychiatrist’s Office” so you get the point. Well half of you anyway.
A few details, pipes are in excellent condition and basically all the shiny bits are clean and rust/corrosion free as seen in the pictures. Seat is in super shape no tears and plenty comfy. All the decals are still in tact and legible. No dents scrapes scratches, just an honest bike with many years of enjoyment left. Never wrecked, damaged, dropped that I can tell. I am very picky when it comes to any bike purchase so I only try and find the really great condition ones that are still around. Plus as one would expect in time these to will get the recognition from the collector crowd and start to appreciate in value.

I currently have a few other bikes that I just listed here as I am thinning out the heard so to speak. And quite frankly I’m just getting a bit old and don’t quite have the giddy up and go as I once had. As one would assume, it takes a tremendous amount of time and energy to keep everything crisp, shiny and in tip top shape. I have so many trickle charger’s you’d think I was mining crypto with all the chords to trip over.
She’s fun, fast-ish, and just a good time. Certainly don’t expect the power of today’s bikes such as my BMW S1000R that lengthen my arms by 5 inches when I hit the wick and hit warp speed. Just Simple engineering to enjoy forever.
