The Ducati Cucciolo was a 4-stroke clip-on engine for motorized bicycles conceived during and shortly after World War II by a Turin lawyer, Aldo Farinelli,^[1] and developed with a self-taught engineer, Aldo Leoni.

First born as an engine kit only but demand was so strong that in 1952 Ducati decided to make the whole bike to production to be sold to the public.

So this is an example is an Italian engine kit one with a Royal Crown British chassis well taking care of .
