1971 XLCH kickstart only.Matching numbers bike.I have really enjoyed riding this bike. Powerful with great compression and a quiet valve train. Receipts for bottom end crank rebuild/balance and piston and rings. Has Mikuni VM38 and electronic ignition. Have original carb and air cleaner.Starts one kick for me every time.New generator and charging like it should.Have original generator.Clutch adjusted properly and works as it should.Transmission shifts like it should. Front brake was rebuilt with receipts. Rear brake works very well. Shocks look original and work as intended with some pitting in chrome. Forks have good dampening but are weeping a little on sliders.Chain and sprockets in good shape. All lights work, horn works.Tires are older but no cracking and plenty of tread left. Tank has been coated and is clean inside.Slight oil leak at primary otherwise very tight motor with no other leaks.Wheels should clean up with some elbow grease and spokes are decent but need a little more attention with some rust.Have extra set of stainless drag pipes to go with bike. Have original grab handle for the seat.Original Harley hard saddlebags go with bike. Not an expert on sportsters but I’m pretty sure these bikes came with peanut tanks. Looks like the turtle tank was swapped out at the dealer and painted along with fenders. I’m thinking bags were added then also. Paint shines up nice but has some tiny nicks and scratches but no dents.
