1958 Harley Davidson Super Sport Solo Panhead Duo Glide. I have had this bike for 12 years and the owner before me bought it in the very early 1960's for his son who was born in 1958. All original with matching belly numbers 158 4264. It has the higher compression and higher horsepower FLH engine. Mileage at 8843 is accurate. I had it repainted in Skyline blue and Birch white with factory code matched paint. It is the first year of the Duo Glides and am told that is one of the last hand shifts made. I had a very experienced Panhead mechanic go through it thoroughly. The engine and transmission oils and filter was changed. New plug wires were installed and cables, brakes, and the generator were cleaned. The chain and grease zerks were lubed. A new voltage regulator was installed. The bike was professionally detailed and is beautiful. This is an original bike with a long, known history of being babied. It is a unique and rare combination of the higher horsepower Super Sport engine and a tank hand shift on it. It sounds and runs fabulous and makes me laugh like a kid every time I drive it.
