Up for Auction is my 1985 Kawasaki 750 Turbo.  I'm the 2nd Owner. Original Owner purchased bike in 1987 as a leftover, rode it easily until 1999. It sat stored dry in climate-controlled storage until Dec 2012 when I purchased. Bike came from Temecula, CA and has zero rust anywhere on it.

Bike is mostly original with exception of mirrors, tires, exhaust and the modifications I'll list below. Also, the last 4 pics are close ups of the scratches/cracks and were present when I purchased. I purposely have not fixed to avoid disturbing original paint. Even the grips and chain/sprockets are original.

Now, if you're familiar with this bike then you know in stock trim when new they had issues with the clutch basket dampers. They couldn't withstand the higher temps this air-cooled Turbo generates and would eventually start to disintegrate thereby putting tiny rubber fragments in the oil eventually clogging oil lines to the Turbo unit resulting in failure. Those not familiar can look up www.750Turbo.com , do a search and read up on it. This website is the holy grail of any information needed/parts resources from members around the World. Check out the route to power section and you'll see this engine is easily capable of 230-250 hp with great reliability. I'll list upgrades I made to resolve this issue and other below.

- complete rebuild of clutch basket with Viton dampers, indestructible.
- oil pan mod, upgrade relief valve and oil pump from 2005 Kawasaki 750 Zephyr. Oil pressure went from stock 35 to 60 psi.
- Custom lock up clutch kit. You can see aluminum spacer in R side engine pic. Uses OEM clutch plates/springs and very light pull, will not slip under any circumstance or power output you choose.
- Plenum kit and blow off valve to prevent compressor stall.
- Boost Controller, currently set at 18 psi. I mix VP C16/93 octane non-ethanol to eliminate detonation. You have option to turn boost down to 13-15 and run straight Non- E 93. Stock boost is 7-10 psi.

I'll list Pros/Cons below:
Pros:
- Fuel tank is perfect as I was lucky enough to find a NOS Tank in the box several years ago, not a scratch or blemish anywhere, inside looks as new (paid dearly for it). Original tank started to weep on lower seam, I took to a local shop that was supposed to know what they're doing and they completely ruined it with Casewell.
- Mods mentioned above were costly but, guarantees longevity long as air fuel mixture is kept in check.
- rides/runs like a new bike it'll take you back in time.
- stock bore and OEM pistons.
- 3rd gear roll on from 60mph will flatten your eyeballs at 18 psi.

Cons:
- R front blinker housing was cracked during transit from TN to MT, moved out here Sep 23. See last 4 pics.
- Tires have good tread but are timed out, recommend fresh Michelins.
- Bike will need tuned on Dyno to check TPS and air fuel ratio (11.5:1 is target under full boost) before you go out and pin it in top gear.
- Bike will need swingarm spacers at some point in the future.
