Original Paint 1966 Harley-Davidson FLH Electra-glide with 26,400 original miles.Matching belly numbers & Clean Title in hand. (see YouTube links below for Videos of bike)
First Year Generator Shovelhead. There were only about 30,000 Generator Shovelheads produced compared to about 40,000 Knuckleheads, 122,000 Panheads, & 300,000 Cone Shovelheads.
Fully Functional Maintained Survivor with service records going back to 1989 in Anchorage Alaska. Current Registration tags through June 2024. Runs and Rides very well, the tires have good tread but are old.
26,400 miles showing on the original speedometer. The odometer works well. The speedometer needle came off the spindle and is loose inside the case. The speedometer spindle itself still turns as it should when riding and seems to reflect the speed properly. As such, I believe the milage to be original for the bike. The speedometer functionality is shown in a riding video. (see link at the bottom)
This Electraglide has a unique history working on the Alaska Railroad with an Alaska Railroad motorcycle parking sticker on the windshield and an awesome surprise inside one of the saddlebag lids. (see pic) Another surprise found inside the saddle bag was an Alaska Rail Road Hat, a Timetable? and a cool leather satchel. Of course, there all a part of the Bike’s history and go with the bike.
