1968 Ducati 250 Scrambler with matching frame and engine number

This 1968 Ducati 250 Scrambler is powered by a 247cc single paired with a five-speed transmission and finished in black with silver and gold accents. Features include a bevel-driven overhead camshaft, a Dell’Orto carburetor, a steering damper, a cross-braced handlebar, off-road fenders, and a two-up seat. I have had this bike for 11 years. The bike was acquired from the estate of the prior owner. I drove the bike home and was in my collection since then.  I put gas in it and gave it a few kicks and it started up this week, Headlight came on and I put a few miles on it.  After sitting for 11 years the carb needs cleaning or rebuilding and it comes with what I think is the original carb and air cleaner too. This 250 Scrambler has a clean Wisconsin title. The fuel tank is finished in black with silver accents and gold pinstriping and clean inside and is mounted to a black frame that uses the engine as a stressed member. The bike is equipped with silver off-road-style fenders, a two-up seat with chrome trim, lights, a license plate bracket, and a side stand. Wire-spoke wheels feature integrated drum brakes and wear period-style tires. Suspension consists of a conventional fork with rubber gaiters and dual Marzocchi shocks mounted to the swingarm. A single speedometer Veglia gauge built into the headlight bucket contains a 100-mph speedometer and a five-digit odometer showing 5 miles, I put on it on  The original speedo is included. The chrome handlebar features a center cross-brace and cushion grips and is mounted ahead of a steering damper. The 247cc single features a bevel-driven overhead camshaft, original carburetor, and a kickstart lever on the left. Power is routed to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission that is shifted on the right. One of the coolest looking bikes with the bevel valve train. I was told that the previous have just finished a full restoration on this bike the paint is of a very high quality professionally done. and tires and seat look new alone with most of the chrome the only area that could be nicer are the rims the back rim is pitted, and chrome has pealed is a section of that rim.  So, the bottom line is maybe the rims could be better and a good carb cleaning.

This is such a cool looking old bike in great condition. Spare carb and original speedo and other small parts included.

This is being re-listed  because the high bidder was surprised on the cost to ship it internationally
