Mileage is unknown(motorcycle was acquired with a custom seat and blinkers and dash removed). Lead seal has been saved but is not on the engine. Engine was cleaned, inspected. Compression is 120psi per cylinder.
The carburetors were just cleaned and rebuilt. It starts right up, idles, and runs really nicely
The electric start system works perfectly.
The ignition was changed from points to a dyna ignition for reliability. It retains the "DUCATI" embossed condensers for a factory original look.
Rubber parts and seat cover replaced with top quality replacements from Bevel Rubber.
The fuel tank has been coated with Caswell tank sealer to seal and preserve the inside of the tank.
Photos of imperfections: 1) There is a small scratch ~3/4" long on the bottom black painted part of the tank toward the front. It is extremely difficult to notice in person due to its location and very hard to pick up on camera. I've done my best and have included a picture of it. 2) Mark next to the gas cap. 3) Mark where the bottom of the seat may have contacted the rear fender.
The bike has not been ridden in a number of years, prior to riding, the safety equipment and tires should be inspected.
