This hard-to-find BMW R50 awaits restoration by the right hands.
It has matching frame and engine numbers and features numerous original and period-correct components: alloy wheels (rusted spokes), chassis, dipstick, front suspension, gas tank (missing glovebox cover and cap), intake tubes, seat, one head, two cylinders, miscellaneous head pipes, and more.
Bike is missing carburetors and engine is presently stuck. "Incorrect" parts on bike: headlamp, handlebar, risers, throttle, perches, and possibly other aspects. Rear portion of rear fender was modified by a previous owner. Minor damage on fuel tank neck. Actual mileage unknown.
To recap: this bike is not complete but offers a good base for preserving the past.

ABOUT USED PARTS
Many of our parts are from used motorcycles and are identified as such. They
may have discoloration, rust, scratches, weathering, or wear and may require
some cleaning and touch-up prior to re-use in your project.
Light bulbs are untested and some may need to be replaced due to their age.
Some parts listed are removed from the make and model indicated, but not all
parts we sell are original. The buyer accepts all liability relating to the
application and installation of parts that he/she purchases from doradoraville.
ABOUT PARTS FITMENT
We try our best to accurately identify parts and to include manufacturer part
numbers whenever we can. Identification is sometimes a challenge and mistakes
are possible. When in doubt, please consult your local dealer or online fiche
(e.g. MaxBMW or Partzilla) for precise fitment and compatibility options.
