You are bidding on a very nice low number 1955 motorcycle license plate from the State of Washington. This plate has scratches around the perimeter from a license plate frame that can clearly be seen in photos. Besides that the plate is in excellent condition. Both white and green paint are glossy with no fading at all. There is no damage to the plate from ever being bent. The receipt taped to the back is for a $425.00 appraisal of the plate. P.S. I do have a 40's plunger GOLDSTAR project that I'm going to sell. I was involved in a bad car accident that has left me unable to work. It may be a long time before I can put this bike together. The bad: no motor because I was going to install a brand new ABSAF engine. Also no title. It is a very solid project and I do have lots of the hard to find parts. All the parts I have for it are in very good condition. No junk at all. It still needs quit a few parts to finish. I have the complete frame, plungers in excellent condition, complete hubs, bearing, brakes and brand new front and rear stainless axles. I have a gear box that is perfect. Correct oil tank which was a pretty penny. Complete forks with long fork ear covers, correct front GOLDSTAR 1/2 hub.
