A BMW GS Adventure is not for everyone.
This motorcycle is made for people who experience adventure their own way on their own terms. People who won't miss out on an experience just because the path hasn't been paved by others.
Do you have an adventurous spirit? I'll try to explain: Imagine you are alone or with good friends cruising through Arizona in the fall, your GSA is set to “comfort” and you float along the highway heading north. From Phoenix to Flagstaff you take the scenic route through Sedona. You feel free when the amazing red-rock structures come into sight and up ahead the GPS shows a road leading off the highway and around a monolithic red-rock mountain . . . you take it. The red-dirt road is soft and loose but with a push of a button your GS moves into soft off road performance: throttle response is softer and suspension moderately stiff for the best control. After a few miles on the red-dirt road you notice a trail leading to the base of the mountain . . . you take it. The terrain is stiff and rocky; push the button again and your bike moves into hard off-road performance. Back on the highway the GPS now shows a twisty road just ahead of Slick-Rock Park. A push of the button and the GS glides into sport mode and easily handles the “twisties”. If you’re still with me, you are interested and a serious buyer. There is no point in wasting time with BMW specs; you probably already know of the 8.7 gallon fuel tank, MPG over 40 (actual), the hand warmers and you may even know the compression ratio. You also know the BMW GS Adventure sets the benchmark for all other adventure motorcycles; all other brands compare themselves to this bike. In my humble opinion, 2012 was the last year of the best GS Adventures; after this they now have water cooled engines. There is nothing wrong except a lot of moving and electronic parts go into this setup, being stranded because of water leaks or electronic failure is not my idea of a fun adventure. There is a limit to the number of pictures allowed so I cannot show every accessory but you can see everything has a guard on it and nearly every piece has been upgraded. Essentially you could imagine going through the TouraTech catalog and getting everything suggested. Original pieces have been kept and are included in the sale. Below is a list of upgrades. · Brand new battery installed upon sale. The existing battery is fine, this is just precautionary. ·

This motorcycle has everything except you. It has never been dropped and always garaged and I truly hate to sell “The
Raven”. I’ll be sad to see it go but it must. If GSA fits you, I'm sure you’ve done your research and you know this is an amazing bike for a very low
price. I would definitely deliver the bike if my schedule allows
but ask yourself this question: “wouldn’t it be fun to fly to San Diego and
have an adventure riding home"? Better hurry because I do have a low "Buy It Now" price; if you've been looking you know you'll never find a bike this clean and this loaded for this price. PS: I recommend going through Sedona! |
