This auction is for a "Pair" of AMF Roadmaster Mopeds that come from a Estate I am working on now, These (2) 1978 AMF Roadmaster Mopeds are in good running condition, AMF owned Harley Davidson when these were in production and so they had a nick name as the Harley Moped. This is the information I got off the internet about the Mopeds, These Mopeds do show usage and do have signs of age scratches and scuffs ect. see pictures, they both run great! Please email if you have any questions. The Mopeds "Do Not Have a Titles" and Were Never Issued a Titles or a plates.
The McCulloch version which is often (but not necessarily
always) designated by a model designation beginning with a "C" has
sadly become the definitive AMF moped. This bike is remarkable for its
unorthodox design, featuring a rear-mounted engine with a friction drive. Power
is supplied by a McCulloch BHE900 engine (most likely designed for use in
chainsaws) which is housed in a plastic box over the rear wheel. The top speeds typically hover around 15mph
due to certain limitations of the drive system. This version was available in 3
basic trim packages including the lavishly trimmed XL. If you have any questions or need additional pictures email or call Gary @ 503 936-8817 Please Note: The items I sell are Estate items, pre-owned, not new, they are used, vintage or antiques, it goes without saying that there maybe some imperfections which I will try my best to point out and take pictures of. Please ask questions, what maybe important to you may not be to me and vice versa...I want to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
