1928 Harley Davidson JD Twin Cam.

This 1928 Harley Davidson JD was Homer Knapp’s desert sled. It is a twin cam assembly with lots of race history including finishes at the Catalina Island original races and again in the 50 year anniversary race in 2012. This 1928 Harley JD Twin Cam was last run In Catalina and it was put away wet. This motorcycle has a California title in the name of the estate. It comes with a full story board that Homer Knapp used when the bike was on display. A California registration form in Homer’s name was found from 1954 that will go with the bike. It is now in protective storage.
