Maintenance Items beyond regular scheduled maintenance: previous owner replaced clutch & rear shock & brake pads. I've replaced Hall effect sensor, front brake pads, front brake master cylinder, front brake light switch, and ignition switch. Also put in a used starter when original one stopped working.
Condition: Generally excellent condition, esp. for its age. Paint has a couple of scrapes on fairing edges, couple of rock chips on fender. Some of the aluminum has minor discoloration. Part of exhaust pipes are not bright. Catalytic converter has been removed. Minor scuffs on side cases.
I've owned this bike for 10 years; bought it with 52k miles on it. It's been great, but I'm just not riding it any more. It needs a better life than sitting in my barn. One of the best sport-touring bikes around; can go quickly thru the twisties, and then take you to the West Coast on the interstates. About 100 pounds lighter than the R1100RTs, which makes them corner better. Located in south central Tennessee. Pick up here, or I can meet you half-way if a reasonable distance.
