- Fully Detailed - We had this '08 Softail Custom fully-detailed prior to picture-taking and can have it cleaned again prior to either shipping or in-person pick-up.
- No Visible Dents
- We are selling this 2008 Harley-Davidson FXSTC as a *VALUE BUY* and a *PROJECT/PARTS BIKE* primarily because of some mechanical repairs required (see the notes under the section labeled "Mechanical") - bike is a bit "rough around the edges" cosmetically, too, but also has several things going for it: 1. Previous owner redid the original "Vivid Black" (traditional, glossy Harley black) paint to "Black Denim," or matte/flat black; 2. Leather-wrapped, hard-sided bags a la the Road King Classic have been installed, and; 3. There are Billet-style grips and a pigtail for your battery tender already on the motorcycle. Please review the pictures carefully or, better yet, call Brent @ 512-422-0761 to set up a first-hand look-over!
- While the areas of attention this bike needs are primarily mechanical, we will point out that the mileage indicator screen is cracked and the head lamp bracket is broken.

- Starts Right Up - This '08 FXSTC Softail Custom is being sold *As Is-Without Warranty* as a *VALUE BUY* and a *PROJECT/PARTS BIKE* because our technician's post-trade-in check-over revealed the following areas which require attention: 1. Front tire is a 1/32 and Rear tire is at 2/32 - both need replacement; 2. The brake light is non-functional; 3. The high beam indicator stays on at all times; 4. The final drive belt should be adjusted; 5. The stator plug is leaking; 6. The front right turn signal is out; 7. The air filter element should be cleaned, and; 8. An oil & filter change is recommended. Still, this 2008 Harley-Davidson fires right up and the powertrain is strong (the previous owner RODE it here as a trade-in) - just makes more sense for a bike at this price point for us to let it go to someone who can "bring it back to life" on their own rather than our invest expensive technician Labor Hours (and Parts) on. Out of State Buyers
Out of state buyers are not charged tax, title, or license if paying cash or arranging their own financing; customer is responsible for registering the vehicle in their home state under this scenario. Out of state buyers using Cowboy Harley-arranged financing WILL be charged TT&L appropriate to their home state and these taxes/fees will be paid on their behalf. Documentary fees and Texas V.I.T. do apply in either case.
Taxes and Fees
In-state buyers will be charged state and local taxes, title, registration, and documentary fees. Our documentation fee is $125. All sales transactions must be completed within 7 days of auction close.
Deposit
We require a $500 deposit within 3 days of winning the auction of a pre-owned motorcycle (OR BEFORE THE END OF THE CALENDAR MONTH, whichever occurs first). A $1,000 deposit is required on any new bike. Please call the dealership to make arrangements for payment.
Auction Policies
Customers with zero or negative feedback on eBay Motors please contact us prior to bidding. Otherwise, we reserve the right to cancel your bid. Understand this is only to protect the integrity of the auction. Winning bidder must contact the dealership within 24 hours of the auction close, make payment of a security deposit within 3 days (OR BEFORE THE END OF THE CALENDAR MONTH, whichever occurs first), and the purchase transaction completed within 7 calendar days. We reserve the right to re-list or sell the vehicle in the event of a no-contact/non-paying bidder.
Buyer Pickup
A representative from our dealership can be available for pickup at area airports or bus terminals when necessary. Buyers must schedule pickup prior to making travel arrangements.
