For sale is my 1993 Ducati 900SS.  I always wanted one of these and now I've had my fun and it's time to pass it on.  Since I bought it, I performed the 6,000 mile service with valve check and recently installed a new battery and changed the oil again. Tires are 50%.

Runs just like this bike should, cold blooded starts, then it's a cold blooded killer.  All stock, except for the awesome Ferraci pipes, upgraded rear mirrors and a Speedscreen shield.  This bike was made famous by various Peter Egan articles and by Hunter S. Thompson in Song of the Sausage Creature for Cycle World.

This "Song" made me want to have one of these lo these many years ago, and if it just made you want one too, bid on this great example of the last, unbridled sport bike Ducati made.

Low starting price, no reserve.  Buyer is responsible for pickup or delivery.  If you've been looking for one of these, this is the one.  If you've been looking for as SP, buying this one and upgrading the shocks would be cheaper than finding a well kept example of an SP.  Happy Bidding!

Left out the description of the flaw, the original owner let it sit too long and the battery must have bubbled some acid on the left side on the casings inside the fairing.   Sorry to have left that out, please see pic.
