- A hydraulic hand brake lever (normally a $1250.00 option)
- Heated grips
- A tall touring windshield
- BRP passenger back rest ($274.99, BRP Part #: 219400155)
- Rear sport rack for the passenger back rest ($434.99, BRP Part #: 219400128)
- Nelson-Rigg full waterproof cover ($80.99)
The three wheels feature anti-lock brakes and a Vehicle Stability System (VSS)
to keep the trike planted. These features combined with the tall touring
windshield and heated grips make the Can Am Spyder the perfect vehicle to explore
the road like a motorcycle with, but without all the safety concerns.
The Can Am Spyder isn't a slow vehicle either. It will do 0 to 60 in an
estimated 4.5 seconds so I hear. If you are used to motorcycles you'll notice
the difference, but it is still pretty quick. If you are used to riding
motorcycles though, this thing is a completely difference machine. It looks
just like a snowmobile but it rides like an ATV. You have to lean into
aggressive turns and you must steer using the handle bars. It's without saying
that this thing is also wider than a motorcycle. It's not as wide as a car, but
it's pretty wide.
If you have more questions or would like to see some more pictures please send
me an email. You’re also welcome to stop by and look at it if you’re in the
area. The trike/motorcycle is for sale locally as well. Good luck.
