Up for bids is this original 1972 Yamaha CS5 RD200 survivor. Clear Ohio title. 7604 original miles. It is early in the model transition, so the engine and frame are still labeled CS3.  This was done by Yamaha, and is well documented. Matching engine 200557. Original purple paint hard to find. Bike is complete. As found. Stored indoors. Does not appear to be abused or laid down. All original unmolested. Currently NOT RUNNING. Engine is free, kicks over and builds compression.  Should easily run with battery and carb cleaning. Gastank is near perfect inside and has been coated. Original paint has some small scratches with light rust showing through. Yamaha gastank emblems dry and shrunk. Tires are original and hold air. Chrome overall looks good. Will need cleaned up as seen. Front fender has small dents as seen. Gauges looks good and has original key. Exhaust looks good with no holes. Nice seat with some chrome loss on stap as seen. Fork legs also have chrome loss as seen. Brakes operate fine with nothing frozen. Still retains the original tool kit in good condition with bag. Includes copy of shop manual, nice mirror missing mount. 2 small bags of parts. Clear Ohio title. Must be paid in full within 7 days of end of auction. $500.00 deposit due within 3 days of auctions end. Can be seen locally.
