Most 441 Victors were hammered hard over the years, in the dirt.
This one is different. There is no evidence it's ever been ridden off-road.
I don't know much about the history of this bike, because I'm selling it for the estate of the owner. I do know a good deal about English motorcycles, however, and in my estimation this is a very nice example of the last year of the 441 BSA. The tires are like new (if not new) there is no rust anywhere (except on the front rim as shown in the photos). The tank is freshly painted with no dents, fender chrome is excellent, exhaust seems near-new.
Shocks are Hagon, appear new. Seat is excellent, all rubber (like, the fork gaiters) appears good. In general, it seems as though this motorcycle has either been meticulously maintained, or more likely, recently restored.
In summary, this is a really nice Victor. If you found a battered, dirt-ridden 441 relic and tried to bring it to this condition you'd have twice the starting bid in parts, and probably 200 hours of labor.
Shipping is responsibility of the purchaser, I'll help in any way I can with coordination, and it will ship from a commercial site so there will be no residential pickup fee add-ons.
I'm not willing to deal with international shipping unless you are a Canadian purchaser and can meet at the Eureka, MT border crossing. You cope with getting it through the border.
Sells with good title.
If this is a motorcycle you want, you'll likely never find another one as nice as this. I'll be happy to answer questions, shoot more pictures…whatever I can do to inform your bidding or purchasing decision.
