Holy Toledo. What happens when you take one of the most iconic Ducatis built, make it the upgraded performance model, the “S”, have Ducati create a color scheme that screams Italian, the “Tricolore”, and then pour thousands of dollars in to all the high end accessories you desire? You end up with this 2007 Ducati 1098S Tricolore on our shop floor sitting right in front of my desk. Work is going to be tough this month..

The 1098 was incredible motorcycle, fantastic handling, power, and brakes and one of the most beautiful bikes ever created. It has the classic Ducati superbike sound that has never been duplicated by any other bike and is one of the great bikes for either street or an occasional track day.

The bike has 2473 miles from new and looks like it never left the show room floor except to roll back to the service department to bolt all of the following parts on:

There is a set of Marchisini 10 Spoke Forged Magnesium Wheels in black that dispose of unsprung weight and gyroscopic effects over stock rims, a set of Brembo Full Floating Front Brake Rotors, a pair of Ducati Performance 520 Sprockets and 520 Gold Chain Conversion, a Ducati Performance Racing Slipper Clutch, STM Clutch Slave Cylinder, Speedy Moto Vented Clutch Cover, Ducati Performance Racing Exhaust & ECU, Carbon Air Intake Covers, Speedy Moto Upper Triple Clamp, Ducati Performance Rearset Footpegs, Carbon Tail Section Air Duct Surrounds, Carbon Side Panels and to put the finishing touches on, a Carbon Instrument Surround.

I do not think I have ever seen so many aftermarket parts bolted to a bike before. Included with the bike are some of the stock parts, including the stock wheels,  in case returning to stock is your intentions.

So if the 1098 was the bike that fired up your imagination and you had dreams of adding every performance part possible with an unlimited budget, you have found your bike for ½ of what it cost the owner to own and build it. Wow…

The motorcycle has not been damaged, crashed or otherwise required work. It has a California title and registration at this time
